The foundations of ariel are firmly built on first hand experience of the difficulties people with disabilities face on a daily basis. Our goal is, and always will be, to advocate for disability inclusion within communities.
Having worked extensively in the Disability Support sector, as a Support Worker, a Client Liaison, and running her own business as a Support Coordinator, Kate identified the need for an IT solution such as the ariel app.
Kate wanted to build something to help support workers provide a higher level of service to their participants, while also giving people with a disability more choice and control in what they engaged with.
With a graphic design background, and all the right ideas, Kate just needed a team mate to help get the ariel app concept off the ground. That is where the foundations of ariel were formed.
Having worked in the IT sector for over 7 years as a Project Manager, Account Manager, and Program Coordinator, Jordan had the digital experience to make ariel a reality.
Jordan has also worked as a Disability Support Worker and could identify with the issues that ariel helps address for people with disabilities.
ariel is a culmination of Jordan’s love for IT and passion for human rights advocacy. It’s not every day you get to work on a project that you honestly believe in, and that you know will bring much needed support to the community.
